Il pinguino saltatore Cody parte da Ghiacciano Terme, in Antartide, per raggiungere le spiagge dell'isola di Pin Gu dove parteciperà alla Grande Gara in onore di Big Z. Durante il viaggio Cody si fa un sacco di amici tra cui il patito di surf Joe Ruspante e l'energica bagnina Lani. Per Cody la vittoria è tutto, ma quando incontrerà il vecchio e fallito surfista Freaky, scoprirà la sua vera strada e capirà che il vero vincitore non è chi arriva primo.
In this animated mockumentary, film crews go behind the scenes at the Penguin World Surfing Championship to provide a close-up look at the inventors of surfing. Yes, penguins were the first species to hang 10 -- or at least that's what this Oscar-nominated film purports. Animators Ash Brannon and Chris Buck co-direct the spoof, and Shia LaBeouf, Jeff Bridges, James Woods, Zooey Deschanel, Brian Benben and Jane Krakowski lend their voices.
